Privacy
What we do with what you send us.
Short version: it goes to the two of us, we do not share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What the form collects
If you fill in the inquiry form, we receive whatever you choose to put in it. Only your name and email are required. The other fields — company, location, industry, phone, revenue, annual earnings, whether a sale is on your mind, and your message — are optional, and leaving them blank does not stop the form working.
We also record the time of the submission and which page it came from. Your IP address is used briefly, in memory, only to stop the same address submitting the form dozens of times in a minute. It is not stored with your inquiry.
Where it goes
Submissions are emailed to Tad Aycock and Luke Mersberger and to nobody else. That email is delivered by Resend, our email provider, and lands in mailboxes hosted by Google Workspace. Those two companies process the message in the course of delivering it. No one else receives it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information. Not to brokers, not to lead lists, not to anyone.
- We do not pass your inquiry to another buyer. If a business is not for us, it stops with us.
- We do not contact your employees, customers or suppliers at any stage without your explicit permission.
- We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site. There are no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
Cookies and third parties
This site sets no cookies of its own. It loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files, including your IP address, as part of serving them. The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs. That is the extent of it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as a conversation might reasonably continue, and delete them on request. If you tell us you would rather we did not keep your details, we will remove them and confirm when it is done.
Asking us to delete something
Email tad@vincennescapital.com or luke@vincennescapital.com and ask. You do not need to give a reason and it will not affect anything else.
Confidentiality
Anything you tell us about your business is treated as confidential from the first message, whether or not an NDA has been signed. We sign a mutual NDA before you send financial statements.
Changes
If this page changes we will update the date below. It is a short document and we intend to keep it that way.
