What usually gets asked.

What happens after I send this?

One of us reads it and replies. Not an assistant, and not an auto-responder, usually within two business days.

Am I committing to anything?

No. It is a conversation. You can stop at any point without explaining why, and nothing you send creates an obligation of any kind.

Will you contact my employees or customers?

Not at any stage without your explicit permission. Your people hearing it from someone other than you is the thing owners worry about most, and rightly.

Do I need financials ready?

No. The first conversation needs nothing prepared. We sign a mutual NDA before you send a single statement.

What if I am not selling?

That is the normal answer and it is completely fine. We would still enjoy twenty minutes hearing how you built it. If the day ever comes, we would rather be someone you already know.

Who would actually run the business?

All of us, together. You know things about this business that nobody could learn from the outside, and we would want to learn them from you. We come in to help grow what you have built, take more of the load over time, and eventually carry it forward ourselves.
