About the firm

Two partners, one acquisition, and no intention of selling it back to anyone.

Vincennes Capital Group is based in Athens, Georgia, and focused on Metro Atlanta. We are looking for one company — not a portfolio — and we plan to run it ourselves.

Who we are

The people you would be dealing with.

There is no associate, no investment committee, and no one behind us you would never meet. The two of us read every business ourselves.

Where we are today

An honest statement of our position.

Vincennes Capital Group has not yet completed an acquisition. We are actively searching, and this is our first. We would rather an owner hear that from us directly than discover it later.

What that means in practice is straightforward. We are not managing anyone else’s capital on a deadline, so we are not under pressure to buy something that does not fit. It also means we are transparent about our financing from the first conversation rather than the fifth — how a transaction would be funded, what it would require, and what the realistic timeline looks like.

What we do bring is preparation. We have spent the better part of a year mapping essential service verticals across Metro Atlanta: the regulatory architecture that creates the recurring work, how the national consolidators price and integrate, the unit economics of a route, and where the margin actually sits. We did that work before contacting a single owner.

Why essential services

Work that has to get done.

Fire protection and life safety. Medical waste. Secure destruction. Environmental and compliance services. Businesses where the service is required by code, by regulation, or by an insurer — not by a customer’s good year.

  • The demand is mandated, not discretionary. An inspection that is due does not get deferred because a quarter was soft.
  • The revenue repeats on a schedule. Annual tests, quarterly routes, and recurring contracts are the foundation of the business rather than a bonus on top of project work.
  • The licenses and the crew are the moat. These are not businesses a competitor can start over a weekend, and that protects what you have already built.
  • They are almost always owner-operated. Which is exactly why they deserve a buyer who plans to operate them too.
